The incident happened on August 2 2017 around 6PM at Ochheuteal Beach in Group 15, Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
The victim was dragged from the ocean after asking for help; by-standers applied CPR but he unfortunately died on his way to the hospital.
Police identified the victim as Chhin Chin Hor (?), a 36-year-old Chinese man temporarily living in Village 2, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
The man's body is being held at the Provincial Referral Hospital to await the handing over to his siblings.

The incident happened in front of stall 222 in Group 17.
Police identified the man as Chen Qiuhe, born on October 15 1984 (32YO) in Fujian, China.
The man was living opposite the Ministry of Agriculture in Group 32, Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
